The Foundation for Children With Neuroimmune Disorders is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advocating on behalf of children with Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Syndrome Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), as well as infectious, post-infectious, and autoimmune encephalitis.
We have three main goals:
-That all children with these conditions would be promptly diagnosed and treated appropriately within their own communities and that their care would be covered by insurance.
-To fund thoughtful research that will provide lasting remission for our children.
-To support children and families enduring these life-altering and, in some cases, life-threatening disorders.
We aim to accomplish these goals by sponsoring medical provider education, working with the legislature and insurance companies, fundraising for research, and directly assisting families through grants as well as support and education.
Our leaders and advisors take no financial compensation so that all funds are available to directly fund our mission.
